CANCELLATION/TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP POLICY
A membership is a subscription and as such it will continue to auto-renew every month unless a termination form is completed at Southwestern Montana Family YMCA.
If a termination form is not completed by the 25th of the previous month, members are responsible for all dues and/or charges for the following month. (e.g. if you do not want to pay for the month of June, you must complete the termination form no later than May 25)
Regardless of which draft date is chosen, members are paying the current month in it’s entirety. Memberships go from the first day of each month to the last day of each month. There are no refunds giving for the current month and members are responsible for current month dues regardless of when during the current month the termination form is signed and received by the YMCA.
Members do owe the monthly membership rate regardless of whether or not they have used the facility.
Memberships can be put on hold ONLY for medical reasons. The YMCA must receive a note from your doctor stating thus.
Putting a stop payment on the selected payment method is not an effective way to terminate a membership and members are still responsible for all dues accumulated until a termination form is signed and received by the YMCA.
